Brinjal


Brinjal is a kind of violet coloured vegetable. It is called by many names such as eggplant, aubergine etc. It is a very delicious food. It is a annual food that means it is mainly cultivated once in a year. But it is found all time in a year. All over its plant's body it is almost covered with thorns. It has been cultivated in southern and northern Asia.




Its size is two types. One is long type and other is round. The long brinjals are good for cooking curry and the round one is good for fry. There are different brinjals in colour too. It is mainly violet but some are white.

It is very useful for health. It helps to control high blood cholesterol which causes heart attack and fate. It is a source of folic acid and potassium.
It is richer in nicotine. If you eat a lot of brinjals, it can be said that it is passive smoking. 9 kg eggplants contains nicotine that is near to a cigarette.It is also a great source of ALLERGY. In a report of a research that eggplant is the cause of 10% allergy diseases. Its leaves and flower pollen also cause of allergy. It is about to be forbidden for those who already have allergy. As it is a delicious food, it contains allergy. 


But is has some good points too. Who suffers from sleepless they can eat a little burnt brinjal mixed with some honey. If they eat this solution, I hope they will sleep soundly. Those who are suffering from increasing liver caused malaria, they should eat a little burnt tender brinjal with some molasses in empty stomach. We should eat brinjals regularly, not very often as it contains allergy and nicotine.
