Radish


Radish is a familiar root vegetable. It contains some elements that are helpful for our health. It is cultivated in many countries. It is very tasteful and delicious. It is also the taproot of the plant like carrot.


It mainly grows in sunny, sandy loams. There are many kinds of radishes. They are the red, white, pink, white, grey-black and other coloured radishes. Sometimes they are very long and sometimes they are like ginger. However, the red radishes contain more vitamins and minerals than others (I think).

It contains a lot of vitamins and minerals. Each 100 g of radishes contains:

Radish is also rich in ascorbic acid, folic acid and potassium. These are a good source of VITAMIN B, copper, calcium etc. One-cup red radish bulbs contain nearly 20 calories, which is more than carbohydrate.

It can help to increase taste. If delicate radishes can be eaten with rice, bread with some salt, taste will increase. Delicate radishes' salad helps to increase appetite. Radishes have merits to prevent fever. Eating radish in winter increases inspire of working, helps to digest food easily, and gives the body a lot of vitamins and minerals.

A lot of radish potherb makes and fresh our body. Radish potherb is better than its root because it digests easily and helps to increase taste. If it can be taken with some sodium by carbonate, it helps to cure of piss problems. It also helps to prevent convulsion. If dried radish is taken by soup after and after an hour, it helps to prevent convulsion. After eating indigestible foods, if you eat radish juice mixed with some lemon-juice, it will help to reduce gas and pane of stomach.

From its seeds, one kind of oil is produced. It is mainly used for salad.




But there are some cautions. Those who are suffering from kidney and gall-bladder stone, they should not eat radish because it helps to make stones.

Carrot

Carrot is a somewhat long, orange coloured root vegetable. It is very helpful for our body especially for skins. It is also very tasteful and delicious. It also contains many carotenes, which cause its orange colour.

It is a biennial plant. The part, which we eat as carrot, is mainly the plant's taproot.



It mainly contains a lot of VITAMIN A. Each 100 g carrot contains:

Carrot contains a lot of VITAMIN A, which helps to prevent many diseases like blindness. It also helps to digest foods easily. Lake of VITAMIN A causes skin diseases. Carrot has many useful uses for beauty. It helps to make the body-skin soft and handsome. If children eat carrots regularly, their teeth do no problem when plucked (which happens naturally). It is better to eat carrot uncooked because its vitamins and minerals are a little scale destroyed when cooked. It is mainly used in salads. Massive eating of carrot may cause carotenosis. This is a kind of disease. If this disease attacks anyone, his/her skins become orange coloured. Therefore, to prevent this disease, we should not eat many carrots. It is also harmful for those who are suffering from kidney and gall-bladder stones because it helps to create stones.
It is also rich in dietary fibre, anti-oxidants and minerals. It contains potassium, sodium, phosphorus etc. that are important for our health.
Its seeds contain a kind of oil, which smells sweet. It is yellow or amber-colour to pale orange-brown. It also contains some helpful elements like his root. The main thing it contains is carotol.
Carrot is also used for facial in beauty parlours.

We should eat carrot measured, not over-eating, as it cause a disease. It does not mean that we should not eat carrot. We should eat carrot regularly measured.
